FDNY firefighters from Brookyn, NY went to work on a 2nd Alarm apartment fire that left many civilians, firefighters, and police officers injured. One boy that was rescued later died at the hospital with 85% burns on his body. The fire took place at 1001 Ocean Avenue in Ditmas Park.

A 14-year-old boy who was rescued with seven members of his family from an apartment fire in Brooklyn early Tuesday died in the hospital on Wednesday, according to the medical examiner’s office.
