Firefighter Close Calls is reporting a New Hyde Park Firefighter was injured when he fell on a ladder spike during a drill. The firefighter was practicing at North Hempstead park for drill tream competitions. The firefighter fell onto one of the spikes and suffered a pucture wound into his stomach.
