"After recieving a rescue call to a victim of a fall Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Deputy 41 found the 76 YO female victim's home in flames. The deputy sent out an alert of "fire showing" and forced his way into the home to rescue the handicapped victim moments before flames consumed the room she had fallen in. Quick action by Deputy 41, and a quick "knock down" by fire crews resulted in a life saved and confinement of the fire to two rooms.
