Watch as these guys try to put out their van that is on fire. Potential Close Call consideration when making an attack on a vehicle with unexpected materials inside the vehicle.
I just found the full length version of a flashover video I had in the past. This footage highlights a residential one family dwelling that is showing heavy smoke on arrival. Watch as the smoke condition rapidly changes, and eventually flashes out of the front door. Once that happens the entire contents of the structure are involved.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – A massive fire broke out at the Riverwalk at Millenium Condominiums this evening. The fire started in a portion of the complex which was still under construction. Some fire officials described the structure as a standing lumber yard with its fire protection features yet to be installed. The fire would reach 8 Alarms officially with numerous requests for additional resources to the scene above those typically assigned on the 8th Alarm.
The complex itself is reported to be a $51 million real estate venture by O’Neil Properties which backs up to the Schuylkill River on the former site of an industrial establishment. The fire quickly spread throughout the Condominiums under construction to the already completed and occupied 5 story buildings just down river. When all was said and done a total of 5 buildings were effected, 3 damaged so bad they will need to be rebuilt. In the area of 400 residents and their pets were displaced (though the exact number isn’t available at this time) and are being assisted by the American Red Cross, the owner of O’Neil Properties and the SPCA to find shelter while the damage is assessed and the rebuilding process is completed. A temporary shelter was setup at the Spring Mill Fire Co. Many residents fear they have lost their pets and everything they own.
The fire was placed under control around 10:30pm almost 6 hours after the 1st units arrived on scene. Fire Dept Task Forces (consisting of Engines, Ladders and Heavy Rescues) from as far away from Berks & Lehigh Counties, continued to arrive on scene after the fire was declared under control to relieve the fire companies from Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties which had been on scene from the start of the incident. Relief support for Emergency Service personnel on scene were provided by such organizations as North Penn Goodwill and the Southeast PA & Delaware Division of the Salvation Army Disaster Services out of Philadelphia. Emergency Medical Services transported several firefighters and civilians from the scene all with minor and heat related injuries. But the good news is everyone got out. As the clean up and investigation into the incident begins developer Brian O’Neil vows to rebuild as well as assist those affected in any way he can.
